The all new Kingsbury Diplomat is the absolute combination of old and new - a vintage style watch built with modern proportions. This beautiful timepiece is powered by a self-winding Seiko Epson caliber YN55A, a 3 handed mechanical movement that beats 21,6000 per/hour, has dual directional automatic winding and a stop second (hacking) feature. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and matching stainless steel bracelet are both fitted on a case that will leave you feeling nostalgic.

Each Diplomat is assembled with a beautiful ‘cushion’ shaped case made from marine grade stainless steel. The watch has an overall diameter of 40mm, measures 44.5mm from lug to lug and sits at only 11mm high. Sapphire crystal was the only choice worthy of this watch, and offers superior protection against scratches. The pushdown crown has been carefully polished is signed with the Kingsbury ‘K'.

The bezel of the Diplomat is perfectly rounded and raised above the case, inspired by some of the most iconic pieces of the past. The polished bezel contrasts against the carefully brushed finish of the watch case, making it stand out in the most beautiful way. Moving down towards the ends of the case you will notice that the lugs are completely hidden. This gives the watch a unique shape and will also hide any gaps between the watch case and straps. To finish off the design we bevelled and polished the case edges from end to end. The multi-finish design creates a luxurious look that will make you pause to admire your watch every time you check for the time. 

The dial of the Diplomat Automatic comes straight out of a 1970's era showroom. Here you will find thin, silver applied index markers that have an elegant raised look. The perfectly matched baton style hour and minute hands have sharpened ends that beautifully tell the time, all while the classic second hand sweeps across the dial.

The date window is fixed at the 3 o'clock position, and has a silver metallic border that matches the hour markers. On the flat outer track, you will find minute markings sandwiched between the luminous beads. Further accenting the dial, a raised Kingsbury 'K' sits proudly above the 6 o'clock, putting an exclamation point on the design. 

Each Diplomat Automatic has been paired with a custom made, 3-link stainless steel bracelet. These bands have been given a fully brushed finish and feature solid end links. These custom end links start at 22mm wide, expand to 24mm past the lugs and then taper down to 18mm at the buckle. The bracelet is coupled with a double lock, diver's style clasp with 3 micro-adjustment positions. The Kingsbury branding is engraved on the clasp.

The Bracelet also has 5 removable links so that you can adjust it according to your wrist size and can be adjusted from 6.25" up to 7.75"- extra links can be made available for those with larger wrists. 

In keeping with the vintage design, we have given the Diplomat a blank caseback with a circular brushed finish. Simple, clean and uncluttered, these casebacks will allow for users to add their own engravings for commemorative markings or a sentimental message when given as gifts.

The Diplomat features special luminous material on the hands as well as special hour markings. The hour and minute hands, as well as the luminous beads have been coated with BGW9 Luminova. This material appears white under normal use and glows a bright greenish-blue during low light conditions. This feature not only gives users a functional benefit, but also gives the watch a unique glowing design.
