The Kingsbury MS3 Aviator draws its inspiration from WWII era aviation, bringing you a reimagined classic. The large Gothic style font, cathedral watch hands and conical crown, all draw on elements of some of the great pilot watches of the past. However, the case details and dimensions, bold blue dial color and 200M water resistance sets this timepiece firmly in the future. The Aviator, our latest expansion of our MS3 product line, offers a modern take on a vintage classic.

To ensure a sturdy build, the casing of the MS3 Aviator was forged using stainless steel, which has been given a beautiful brushed finish. The thin bezel protrudes out from the case at an angle and adds some depth to the 39 mm diameter case (measured w/o the crown). With a total height of 12MM, it feels and looks good on the wrist. The screw-down crown on the MS3 Aviator sits at the typical 3 o'clock position and is signed with the our signature 'K'. The diamond style crown completes the vintage pilot look of the watch and is practical and easy to grip edge.

Protecting the face of the watch, you'll find a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Coupled with the stainless steel case and backing, the MS3 Aviator boasts a very impressive water resistance of 20ATM (200M).

The dial on the MS3 Aviator has a vintage feel and is inspired by classic pilot watches from the WWII era. The sunburst blue dials, are dark with flashes of blue whenever it touches the light. The gothic, numeral hour markings, are bold and printed with a luminous material. The minute and hour hands, which are also luminous, use a cathedral style design with fine pointed ends. To count down the seconds, you will find a classic looking second hand, painted in a white, that makes it pop against the dial.

Printed on the outside track, you will find 24-hour markings for reading out military time. At the 3 o'clock position you will find a convenient date window - one of the features of the NH35 automatic movement.

No pilot watch would be complete without a way of reading your dials in a dimly lit cockpit and the MS3 Aviator is no exception. For our design, we chose the supreme high quality of Swiss made SuperLuminova (BGW9), which appears white under normal conditions and glows green during low light conditions (when charged).

Both the numbered hour markings and the hour and minute hands have been treated with the luminescent paint, which is not only functional, but gives the watch a desirable glowing design.

In keeping with the vintage design, the MS3 Aviator Ref.102035 comes equipped with a brown, micro-suede watch strap, with a cross-stitched pattern and stainless steel hardware. These 20mm wide straps, are sporty in design and are hand made from genuine bovine leather. Each strap features Kingsbury branding laser etched onto the matching brushed buckle.

  

The caseback on the MS3 Aviator is constructed from 316L stainless steel and has a screw-down design allowing for the tightest fit and best protection against water. The outer edge of each caseback has been engraved with the make and model plus water resistance and movement details. Featured prominently in the center of the caseback is an engraving of a vintage, prop-plane carving through the sky.
