Now unveiling the Discovery Field - the new Limited Edition variation to the Discovery model line. The original Discovery Automatic was launched in the summer of 2021 and has since completely sold out. Powered by the same YN77 small second hand movement, the all new Field Edition will make a great addition to any collection.

The limited, Field Edition, has an identical case and bracelet to the Discovery Automatic but features some key differences:

- Printed Numerals with Lume
- Yellow Small Second Hand
- Assembled in Canada

Limited Edition: Only 50 units of the Discovery Field have been assembled.

The casing of the Discovery is forged using marine grade stainless steel. The watch has an overall diameter of 41mm, measures 49.5mm from lug to lug and sits 12.8mm high. To protect the face of the watch we've used a curved sapphire crystal, this synthetic sapphire offers superior scratch-resistance and will help keep your glass looking sharp. The casing of the watch has been given an overall brushed finish with a polished edges on both the side of the two-piece bezel and the beveled edges of the lugs. This two tone look is subtle but catches the eye and gives the watch a luxurious look.

The crown on the Discovery sits at the 4 o’clock position and is screw-down style to help safeguard the watch against water leaks. Overall water resistance for the Discovery is 200M, enough for bathing, worry-free swimming, snorkeling and water activities.

The dials on the Discovery Field have a vintage feel and are inspired by classic field watches from the WWII era. The matte dials have bold and luminous, numbered hour markings. The watch hands, which are also luminous, are syringe style with pointed ends. At the 6 o'clock position you will see a small, white sub-dial, that counts down the seconds. The small second hand has a contrasting yellow tone.

To keep with tradition and to also maintain a clean look, you'll notice the absence of a date window. It is important to note that the Discovery Field uses a true no-date automatic movement, meaning there are no phantom crown positions.

Each Discovery wristwatch has been paired with a matching, 3-link, oyster style bracelet. These stainless steel bands have been given a beautiful brushed finish and use a custom, solid end-links. The bracelets start at 21mm wide at the end link and then taper down to 18mm at the clasp. The bracelet is coupled with a milled, diver's style clasp, with 3 micro-adjustment positions and engraved with Kingsbury branding. 

The Bracelet also has 8 removable links so that you can adjust it according to your wrist size and should easily accommodate most wrists up to 8.00" (extra links can be made available for those with larger wrists).

The Discovery comes equipped with luminous material to help tell time in the dark. The hour and minute hands, as well as all hour markings, have been coated with a green lume. This material appears white under normal use and glows a greenish blue color during low light conditions. This feature not only gives users a functional benefit, but also gives the watch a unique glowing design.

The caseback on the Discovery is constructed from 316L stainless steel and has a screw-down design allowing for the tightest fit and best protection against water. Each case has been given a brushed finish that matches the watch case. We've engraved the Discovery logo onto the center of each caseback caseback, which consists of mountain sunset illustration with the 'DISCOVERY' model engraved boldly below. Watch specifications are also engraved along the outer edges.
